CAT BREEDS OF THE WORLD

Hi again last week we featured the Norwegian Forest cat on our breeds of the world , This week here at Elliots Petwarehouse its time to look at the Sphynx cat.
Commonly known for its lack of a coat, hairlessness is a naturally occurring genetic mutation but the Sphynxas a breed was developed in the 1960s The skin has the texture of a chamois leather if it has hairs or the cat may be completely hairless.Skin is the colour the fur would be Being hairless they lose body heat quicker than other breeds and need warm places to live.
The cats are great as show cats and have all usual cat markings
